I am tired of these phone calls.I do not owe this money and they won`t stop calling.They haven`t shown me any paperwork or even told me when this bill was made.Their details are sketchy and I don`t think they are real.A lawyer told me not to talk to them
That was an unprofessional and typical response to the statement above. The thing about debt collectors is that they do not send the required paperwork to the individual to show actual debt or why there is a debt. When you call them and you refute the debt, they get hostile with you and in one scenario, threaten to take everything you own.
In the phone message, I was told that there is a case pending that will begin the 25th of this month and yet, I have not received anything in the mail stating this and I am sure they have my personal address as well as my phone number. What the majority of the public doesn't know is that if your debt is about to disappear after 7-10 years, they will begin harassing you because if you make the contact, those 7-10 years are wiped clean and it begins again.
A word of advice: If you want someone to talk to you or answer their phone, maybe in the message you should state the actual intentions or issue. At least then, the person has the option to call you or not, knowing the actual factual circumstances.
