I got a call from this no. earlier today and had the same thing happen when I called this no. After I googled this no. I found out that this is a scam.
We received same call, a male voice with heavy Indian accent (I know because I am of Indian origin) in a curt and threatening tone, to call the number and ask for Karen Peterson to sort out an income tax issue urgently.
Comply with Mr.Cheng's demands for immediate payment, or risk being arrested and taken away to debtor's prison, where you will spend the greater majority of your remaining natural life. Just joking! it's a scam---totally ignore the calls.
I got similar call this morning. A person with heavy Indian accent (I am from India) says his name as Richard white. He asked me to call back this number immediately and talk to his senior officer. I don't think he is innocent. Just ignore them.
