This was a voter survey call. The machine picked up and a guy at the other end thought the call had been answered so he left a message that went somewhat like this... "in the last election did you vote mostly republican, somewhat republican, mostly democrat or somewhat democrat? Hello... hello......... click".

Robo call about political survey. Hung up, and then two more calls came through from 425-247-0540 with the same questions. We have friends in Kirkland, so we thought the number was genuine.
Number doesn't appear spoofed because we called back and there were instructions to have the number removed from list. However, caller ID did not identify the called and only identified as Kirkland, WA.
I tried calling back to have my number removed. The recorded voice said "You have reached a pinger number. We'll let the person know you called. All I can do is hang up now. Why don't you go first, so I don't have to." Stupid!
Believe it's a political "survey" type place calling.
I actually talked to them the 2nd time they called and told them not to call again.
Didn't work, they called again today....now they're just another spam/scam caller since the ignore the laws.
