Called and said that I owe money.. plus said that they mailed me a certified letter that requires my signature..no such letter has arrived at my apartment in the 4yrs I've live where I'm at.
It's a bogus  scam company phishing for money

So sick of SCAMMERS calling trying to get money out of me, the sad part is they know most of my information!  SCARY!

If they are bothering you, report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a  violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.)  The same goes for endless telephone harassment

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Called me Yesterday and today - Called my mom and husband yesterday trying to find me... told me that I owed $2050 from a payday loan in Sep 2013... when I was having a child (born Sep 2013)... when i asked what company i had supposedly taken a loan out from they told me that couldn't tell me.  Told me that I could settle today for the original loan amount of $400.  I said that I know this is a scam and he said no is not and that they will take legal action against me.  I said ok... i will file a police report for harassment and he hung up.

They would like me to call back on a personal matter I did I guess I owe the money so I guess I will send them the money W T F E  NOT !!!! N this life
