I just got scammed by these guys, myself!  No phone call-just fradulent charges.  Not nearly for as much as you guys, so I feel a little guilty complaining: $92.09.  Dazed, you mentioned Paypal.  That's the only way I can think of that my card information could have gotten out there because I just signed up for paypal and made my first purchase about 2 weeks ago.  NEVER had a fraud problem before and now this charge shows up...

I just got slammed three times (for  a total of just over $1,000) from RWS. They hit my PP MC. PP cust service is on this, but now I have to get a new card. Grr. I am surprised that they still get away with this three years later.

May 28, 4 rapid fire transactions from this RWS-ESERVICES Singapore place.
My Paypal account also.  Debit.
All are currently in "pending" mode, but Paypal says they can't just cancel them.
They'll have to go through?????????? Then they will reimburse my account. That seems somewhat backward.
Bank can't do anything because none of them have come through yet.  They did flag the account.  The only other option was to close the account now and reopen a new one, but I have checks out to legitimate companies and that would cause them to bounce. Yes. It is a major pain and worse its extremely worrisome.

I was hit this month by this Singapore company - **through my Paypal MC**!  I only use the card for online purchases and I rarely use it!  My first charge was the "tester" for $7 from a Ragshead Inn in Virginia.  I haven't been to that state. Then within 2 minutes of each other, I got 3 additional charges for $254, $180 and $254 (and some change) from the RWS E-services. The PayPal agent in the Fraud Dept. said there was one more charge for $180 but it was declined because I guess I had set a limit on my PP card.  The initial $7 charge eventually "expired".  Paypal credited the charges but each one still hit my bank seperately (twice).  So after the first set of transactions, my bank credited one overdraft charge, Paypal reimbursed me for the other two. (each OD fee was about $30)  The second time the charges went through, my bank reimbursed all three OD charges as a courtesy because I called and said it was from the same fraud situation.  Paypal had credited my PP account and I had all that money sitting in there ($600+) but for some reason, it still went through my bank a second time which threw me off financially again because I'm broke to begin with!  Hopefully Paypal takes care of this and I don't hear about those charges anymore.  After reading this forum, I'm seriously considering canceling my back-up funding through my bank and just maybe funding my PP account through the cards you buy at CVS if I can do that.  Only it's a pain because it's like $5 every time you fund with a card.  :(  I don't know if I got a call from these thieves.  My phone rings all day and random numbers are always showing up.  Don't know how they would have gotten my CC#.
