Got a phone call from this number on Dec 30th, 2015, saying he is running a fundraising for firefighters, not sure how he got my number, but something is fishy about the call.
I just got a call from this number at 8:30pm. He claimed to be a firefighter collecting donations of a "one time only taxed fee". He asked for either $50, $100 or $150 or more. He didn't give a specific group, organization, troop or anything. Please no one fall for this. They will take your money and everything in your bank. Don't do it.
From the reports above, there seems to be a lapse in time that they used this particular number - from December to April. I got a call from this number last November and again today. As others reported, something to do with firefighters.
When they called last fall, as soon as I said "I believe I've asked you to remove me from your list", he hung up. Yeah, they really honored that request. They called again today; it went to the answering machine; they hung up.
