No one can answer my simple question...why would a company want to waste time and money calling a person who isn't interested?

Now my cellular phone is called daily...

Just call them back, jump through a few automated hoops and input your telephone number and they "supposedly" put you on an opt-out list......

When they call, answer the call. Tell them you want to sign up your business website. When they finally ask for the name of the website, tell them: www.telemarketersaresogullible.com.
Then wait for he hang up.
