BEWARE -- Offering free website to "winner." Well, this automated call is clearly a "loser" to steer clear of at all costs! Not sure what they're seeking, but it smells phony to me, as confirmed here by others.
Better yet, stop wishing for the government to come to your rescue, and use available technology to block their calls. Despite the USGOV Please Make Them Stop List, the government has no interest in actually succeeding in stopping unsolicited calls from reaching your phone. They just want you to believe they do. After failing over and over, they will say they need more money to enable them to succeed. This is the point where the loop begins. Catch my drift? Government solutions are no such thing. Government is less than worthless.
Just got a call. Called back, and stupidly entered in my number falling for their trap. These people deserve every unfortunate thing that happens to them and the people they care about.
Telemarketing firm that uses deceptive tactics. They ignore the Do Not Call list so be sure to report them to http://donnotcall.gov and help get them shut down. This number is from Washington state, but they're actually in Orange County, California and have no licensing agreement with Google. Here's the info:
