This number called, it was a recorded voice saying please hold, a guy came on with a middle eastern accent who just said "Tanaya?" I asked who it was and he told me he has an important call for my name and asked if that was me. I hesitantly said yes. He tells me he needs to transfer me for this important call and to hold. An automated voice comes over and says "please continue to hold". A new male voice comes on and again just says my name. I said " who is this?" He said his name is Paris something with Receivable Performance Management and told me to confirm my address. I told him I have no idea who he is and I'm not confirming anything until he tells me. He gets a tone and more ebonics with me and tells me "I tol you my name, it's Paris with Receivable Performance Management now I need you to tell me you address to confirm your identity" I told him that's not telling me what this is about because I don't know that company and have no business with them. He got very agitated, told me it's a recorded line and I need to confirm the last 3 digits of my zip code! I told him "You all called me, placed me on hold and won't tell me what this is about. I'm not confirming [***]" and I hung up.
scam / spam /collections / don't know / don't care... "something something loss-prevention something".if they tried moving their lips when speaking i might have been able to understand the voicemail they left. but i don't understand ebonics. sorry.
This person had been calling my office to no avail. Finally picked up. She said, "Brandon" knowing that no Brandon was here, and then hung up. Watch out for this scam artist!!! No worries, she and her co-conspirators are being thoroughly investigated!!!
