There's no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Callers call from India and Pakistan. Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do NOT recotnize. Callers spoof local numbers. Watch out for area codes 202,, 206 and 425. They tend to use Washington State and Washington DC area codes, largely because they do not understand the difference and think they are going to intimidate you into thinking they care calling form Washington DC.
I received a voicemail from (425) 374-1278, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 @ 3:51pm that stated:
"This is the local cops and there are 4 serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request that you to get back to us about this case, so we can discuss before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 425-374-1278, I repeat 425-374-1278. Thank you."
