Getting multiple calls from this number, leaves no message or there is no one on the other end. I have had to block this number as well as 425-390-8123, 425-390-8126 and 360-529-6163 for the same reason. They are Washington state area codes. I'm running out of the number of numbers I can block with my carrier.
DNC is unconstitutional. If you have a phone number, in a free society folks might call it. Get some backbone and handle it. Have some fun. Tell them they have reached the FBI. Better yet, tell them you are a detective and there has been a murder here and you are investigating and since they have called they must know the deceased and therefore they could be a suspect and you need to get some info from them, start asking them their name, address, SS#, employment, etc., and that an officer may have to follow up on them in person. Haha. Come on now y'all, lighten up, have some fun. Or just don't answer. As someone else suggested, put call blocking on your phone, things like that. If we don't take care of these simple little annoyances ourselves, we'll open ourselves up to more and more government regulation, and as you can see, in the case of the DNC, gov stuff doesn't work very well. We are paying them tons of money and they are incompetent. Do the work yourself for free and get it done right. Well, that's my two cents worth. Also, ever wonder why politicians are exempt from DNC? They have it backwards. I don't want some Congress Critter calling my house, but a small business trying to feed his family is okay, just say no if you don't need what they are offering. Now, scam calls are a different story. They buy prepaid cell phones with US numbers but they are calling from India, so DNC does not apply. See how incompetent the .gov is? Scammers can legally get thru, but legitimate business they want to block. Let's have a little freedom back in this country - let the biz call and block the INTERNATIONAL calls. SO MANY folks are falling for the scams, that's why they are thriving, and it's costing innocent people tons of money for which they receive no service and nothing but trouble, id theft etc. I say if a biz calls, buy a medallion or whatever and give it to your grandma for Christmas, but SCREW these International scum scammers. Whose side does it look the the .gov is on? Smarten up, people, and get a backbone. If legit biz calls stress you out, you need to look at your schedule and cut out some of the BS and relax a little so you have some "headroom" energy to handle a little thing like a damn phone call.
I just let these messages go to Caller ID and then delete them. I have had calls from collection agencies trying to collect from my ex wife and her husband. (Been divorced over 29 years, but still get calls) They are up to their eye balls in debt. On those calls, I just give the caller their current address and ask that they never call me again. that works, but the ex and her current husband have so many delinquent accounts, I'll probably keep getting those calls. All other unknowns, I just delete them.
