"Hi this is Sarah, and I want to talk to you about your tax debt... " what I believe was a recording kept going on about Obama and such and I just hung up.
Elsewhere I found this number listed to Pacific Telecom Group... I decided to call it back. A male recording started talking about taxes again and said something like, "if you do not owe back taxes and feel you were called in error, press nine to be removed from our list." - I pressed nine and it immediately hung up. We shall see though...
These criminals are relentless. There is no TAX help. There is no assistance, they arent even a real company. USE COMMON SENSE. Usually businesses will call from a 1800. Do not call the number becuase technically you will be consenting. Just report and stay away. Plus, you are not connected to a call center. Why is that? Criminals. If you do research, Pacific Telecommunication group owns that block sequence of numbers, all of them are scams.
Folks, this nonsense has been going on for years. Telemarketing scams are on the rise. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR CREDIT CARD. Nothing more nothing less. Received a phone call recording on my answering machine
offering services with Tax debt. I called the number to ask
taking our name of the list because our number is on the
DO NOT CALL LIST, however we notices the number and
the msg is a scam because you can't be connected to anyone.
The line simply hangs up when you try to be connected. I tried
it many many times and the same thing happens, the lines
keep disconnecting!
