It's strange how they get your number so quick? Not even had it a week and was already calling! You would think after a couple of times you didn't answer, they would give up.
Interesting...I do owe the IRS, but I am corresponding with them by mail. Paper trail. Documentation. I never answer the house phone when a number is unrecognizable. Besides, if you really do owe the IRS, it's better to just communicate directly with their staff and make payment arrangements. What's the point in bringing in a 3rd party when you are capable of doing it yourself. Be careful who you let do your taxes. They can screw you, get a great fee up front, and you end up owing more in taxes than you ever did!
