googled this number and found numerous complaints against it under another sight: "whocallsme.com".
apparently it's a credit reduction rate joint using the name EZ Credit.
but there were also calls from this number claiming to be a doctor's office and also a marketing lead service.
take your pick.
I received a call from this number (425-406-9040) on my land line. When my son answered it, they hung up. Immediately after, my daughter's cell rings, same number appears on the ID. She answers, again they hang up. I thought, what are the chances that the same (out of state) number would call BOTH phones like that? How did the number get my daughter's cell number. I called the number back. A gentleman answered with a "Hello". I said you just called my house, and one of my cell numbers and hung up on both calls. He replied "No, I have not called anyone." I said where are you located? He told me in the major city close to me. He said he was just telling his wife how he has received calls from people with the same complaint as myself. He said that this line was his business cell. I said, "What is the name of your business?" He told me that it was a landscaping business. These calls really gave me a "sick" feeling. Especially since the guy denied the calls, and lied about where he was at. I am on the NO CALL LIST in my state. I am going to call and report this tomorrow.
Got a call on Jan 4, 2013, from this number, on my CELL PHONE! I picked up, and after a few seconds of silence, a recorded message began. It said something like "if you have ever suffered from stroke, thrombosis, pulmonary blah blah blah.. and you have taken such and such birth control pill..."
