Got a similar call just a couple of minutes ago and had the same experience as the others who posted here. When I picked up the call, I heard ringing tone in the background and then someone picked up saying that he was looking for XXX. I told him that this is XXX's wife and then he mentioned something about "2005 Ford...." (sorry, too noisy and I could not really heard the details). And then all of a sudden this jerk just hung up the phone!

THIS IS A SCAM!! they are trying to sell you an extended warranty on your car. They know all the details of the car you drive but this is not real. It has happened twice to me and the first time I told them I was leasing my car and all my maintenence is free and they hung up. The second time I immediately told them to leave me alone. This also happened to my boyfriend and they tried setting up a payment plan for the ridiculous 5,000$ warranty and almost got his information. Call them out and let them know you know what this is!
Location reported coming from Everett, WA. As other people have said, they're a company trying to get you to buy extended protection on your car. Spam phone call, this is the second one I've gotten in a couple months. You can push them for questions and get them to hang up, or just hang up when you hear the opening line. Please keep reporting these to as many sites as you can.
