Is there a mailing address for these people? My thought is to send them a documented letter to stop calling number xxxx within 48 hours of signing for the letter. If they don't, state that all calls made will be charged $50, period. Anyone know if this is legally enforceable?
I get calls from RPM all day every day as well. However, I think it is vital that you take your frustrations out on the company and their practices, not their employees who are most likely just trying to feed their families or pay their rent. The employees of the company did not write the policies and in order to keep their jobs, are probably expected to meet a certain number of 'debts collected' in a certain timeframe. Personally, I would not work for such a company, however I am lucky and have that option.
