I called the number. I put in the.pin of 837131#, and a recorded message says, stand by, organizer not in attendance. What is going on? Is this a scam?
This is a teleconferencing line where you have to punch in a meeting code to join the teleconference. The strange area code comes up as "outside of your calling plan", which lets them ding you a penny a minute for the privilege of participating in your meeting. Anything they can do to drive traffic to this number is money in their pocket. But, they don't call you - you call them.
