Got a call from this number about 15 min ago; did not answer as I didn't recognize the area code, and thought it might be a 'somebody soliciting for something' kind of call. I usually check unfamiliar numbers here, so, thanks for the heads up on that, John Doe.
They Say Hi this is Rosy and claim to be from Microsoft claiming that your computer has sent reports to microsoft of virus on your computer. After you talk with her for a few moments she transfers you to a pushy guy telling you to get in front of your computer right now so they can connect to your computer to SHOW you the problem.
This is obviously a scam as seen in the news many times so please do not let them get away with it. Just hang up.

I've received several calls to my cell phone from this group over the past year stating that there is a problem with my computer and that they are from Microsoft. I simply told them that I don't own a computer and that halted him right in his tracks. This is a scam to get you to install software on your computer so that they can gain access to it. DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!
