i was contacted and told by a man who said his name was Jack Woods, and an attorney at law, i asked for the name of his Law Firm so i could GOOGLE it and he sd i could have his email, ummm no, i asked for your company name, not some email account you can make up for free in a matter of minutes. he wanted me to fax over a

Indian Accent man who claims he is Admiral Stephanie Johnson,Daniel Wilson and even though he disguised his voice to be a chief advisor for the lawfirm he works for.
First called around OCT 20th saying we owed them 5400 for court fees and a payday loan..From think cash.First off never had a thinkcash acct. and secondly I have never heard of them setting up court.I indeed had a payday loan I paid out (It was $150) and the name was still not what he said.
I told him what he wanted to hear that I would talk to my husband and figure it all out(he never once asked me to verify my identity.NO_ONE does that.We always get asked if other is there to verify he just started spitting out junk.Then next day called again diff. number though-253-785-0869..Claiming we owe him $330 and it will suffice.Send it to Daniel Wilson.......Address...xxx.xxxx..xxx I wrote it all down.Then asked me to pay by phone with C>C I never do that!
I told him give me 45 min.I had just woke up-at end of that I recieved 17 calls.From a blocked number ,and 1 vmail.He said either I pay the $317 or he will be helpless for me in court.
So the amount kept changing and IM brushing this off.I owe no one money- especially someone who hardly speaks English!
These scammers get more comical every day - "admiral" - what a joke. Read the post by "the saint" under the number 909-200-2008 on this site. That thread has alot of fake posts by the sammers that are soo funny in the way they try to make this scam look legitimate. You can spot these a mile away because they don't write english any better than they speak it. You should report the calls to your state attorny general and on www.ice.gov. Notify your bank and put a fraud watch on all your accounts. Beware - if they have information about where you work or friends - they will call them also - it's all part of their scare tactics to try to make you pay. Really "admiral" - now thats rich!
