Received a call form this numbe rwas left on voice message and they threntened they were going to take me to jail and pick me up at work if I don't call them back within the next 5 to 15 minutes.
or my lawyer doesn't call them.
i got a threntening call as to if I dont call them or my lawyer call them within the next 5 to 20 minutes tha they will submit this to the courts and they will come n pick me up at work and take me to jail.
the person that called me and left a message name is Brian Parker with a strong accident he didn't sound american with an american name.
I also recieved a call from this person Brian and it sounded like Parker for the last name. He had an accent that sounded middle eastern and was very difficult to understand. The caller ID showed the number 212-777-3456. I believe it was the same "Brian" who also called my son's cell phone and left a message yesterday for me to call back. The number he gave my son was 1-866-582-5208 ext #30451.
OMG, as I am typing this, he just called again from the same #, left the same return number, but this time he said his name was Devin.
Anyway, he told me he has a criminal case lying on his desk and that if I do not return his call within 5 minutes he is going to turn the paperwork over and have me arrested.
I received a voicemail/call from a Nancy who then transferred me to Shawn Richards (also heavy accent-both) and said that I was going to be picked up at my place of employment and would be taken to jail. This started 03/01/10 and have been continually calling with same threatening statement. The number he has left is 425-606-3786. So far I have not been picked up. I did have a loan with CashNet which I need to payback which is why he is calling about.
I also got a phone call from Nancy today at my job and on my phone. She said she was from the cyber crime division. I told her she was on a recorded line and hung up. My voicemail said to contact her right away or I would be in plenty of trouble. I am not calling her back.
Last fall I received several threatening calls also from supposedly some atty. from the cyber crime division stating that I took out a loan online and did not pay it back and that they were going to download an affidavit and have me picked up and put in jail. None of this is true. Never heard of the company. I had printed bank statements to prove this was not true. Nothing happened. Needless to say I was pretty upset by these calls. My daughter went online with the number and showed me this is a scam. I guess they want to harass people into giving them money so they won't call their job.
