The automated system said that the police would come in the next 24 hours if I didn't call them back. When I called to see if it was legit, I was greeted by a polite Indian man . they said that they were from the IRS and that I filed 3 years of income tax with false numbers. When I said I wanted the IRS to contact me directly, he said "f#ck you motherf%cker, I am the IRS and hung up.
Obvious scam. Nothing AT&T can do.
The IRS NEVER calls. They use the US Postal Service.
BTW, what are "24 working hours"? Since there are 8 working hours in a day, would that mean 3 days?
Just got a call from this #.. same thing as reported by others. Obviously a scam, apparently I have 4 allegations against me and they can help before law enforcement is called and action is taken... stupid scammers.. tired of them
