VoIP number as the display name and (425) 668-9265 as the calling number. We never answer VoIP calls - we know no one using it. Some advice: simply don't answer the call if you DON'T KNOW who it is! Even by answering you're letting the robodailer confirm it got a legit number. Anyone can obtain software from the 'net to run a virtual PBX and from there spoof (fake) any other number.
Individual has strong accent and claims to be representing computer maintenance...I had the experience of falling for such a call and found out.....fortunately in time, that it was a hacker.
I saw this call on my phone display and didn't answer it. When I googled it, I found out it could have potentially been a hacker. Thank you for posting this information
Just had a call from same number. Strong accent also. Said he was calling from Windows(?) and said my computer downloaded corrupt files without me knowing. I said I have a security feature on computer and thanked him and hung up. He called right back and it went to voice mail and he said I was going to lose computer. It's a scam...don't fall for it.
Received a call from this number and answered and hung up immediately, then I blocked the number. About an hour later I received another call which was blocked, but the number was the same. Recommend blocking.
