Tell them to stop calling you. Don't admit to owing money...even though you may have unpaid bills at various collection agencies. They are [***]. I lost full time job in 2009. I could not make monthly credit card bills. Now I have unpaid medical bills--no medical insurance. Consult an attorney who can help you shelter your assets--legally. Rich people shelter assets for many reasons. Don't allow these [***] to garnish your wages or checking/savings accounts. All collection agencies take advantage of the weakest most vulnerable among us. You have rights. Don't allow them to make your life hell.
Called first from 'unknown number' then called right back from 425-740-5477. Caller ID only said 'Everett WA'. Left no messages either time. I'll assume from other posts here that it is a debt collector. Thanks.
