I've got a better one for you all. Lady called me yesterday harassing me about a 24k student loan debt I have to pay back immediately. I was very rude trying to get my point across that they weren't mine and she said I was lying. By the end of the call she had realized it was my birthdate phone number and name attached to someone elses SSN, address, and school information. These people are a joke and have NO clue what's going on , DO NO TRUST THEM!!!!!!!!
why would a creditor hire a collection agency that is clear across the country from me to try and collect monies i owe? I do owe some but I was hit financially hard this past year with this economy ( layoffs at work, gas and food prices) its no wonder the whole damn country is broke seems the only ones making a living is the debt collectors. well i aint paying them they all keep saying "we will take you to court" I keep saying please do then I can show the judge financially im strapped week to week just trying to pay my mortgage. so there is nothing left to give to them. when im able i will pay - right now they have hit my credit reports so why bother paying that hit will stay on there for the next 7 yrs whether i pay or not.
I am tired of debt collectors calling and calling...knowing full well that badgering does not get any money that I do not have. I have attempted many times to work with the original company and nothing was resolved then, They all lie and say they want to help but never do nothing to help make it possible. I am like another man when they said they would take him to court, take us to court so we can prove our side of the story...I did not create the mess that our country is in economically, I had to close my business because there was no business. I am retired on a very fixed income, when things get better and I have more money, I will pay the original company not a collection agency,so they just need to stop calling me everyday.
