I've bought six Toyotas in the past 20 years and my most recent car was paid off in March 2014. I owe them nothing. They even sent me the closed contract and the car title, so they cannot be calling to collect money. Yet they keep calling once or twice a day and never leave a message.
This has to be Toyota Collections department. I see that people on other blogs get calls from a similar number (425-748-5934). Yes occasionally I fall behind on payments and they call. Why do they call everyday? Its not going to help me get my paycheck any faster nor give me a raise. So whats the point? They'll eventually get their money, because I don't want a repo on my record. I just don't understand why they keep changing their phone numbers and don't have caller ID. Why are they hiding their identity if they have the right to collect. Many of the employees were probably former 'Timeshare' or 'Use Car' salesmen with no ethics training.
Yes, Toyota calls from everywhere, Cincinnati, Ohio - Bellevue, WA, oh my goodness, they call at least 10 times a day. I'm trying to get my loan paid off, cause they drive me frikking crazy. I don't ever answer the phone, much less when its an unknown caller, so they can just forget it. And they never leave messages.
I have about 17 different phone numbers for Toyota. They're all filed under one contact profile that I have set to go to voicemail, so every time they try a new number, I add it to that list.
Glad to hear I am not the only one being harrassed by Toyota! Not only do they cal every day, but they call multiple times a day! To the point above, this does not make me have $ any faster!
