The phone number (425) 840-3321 keeps calling my elderly mother and asking for my sister who's been decease for 20 years! Mom has told me they've gone as far as to ask for my sister's social security number. Added mom on The Do Not Call list over 1 year ago, but they call anyways! Recently added mom to The Do Not Call list again. They called again today! It's a clear violation of my state's laws on unwanted calls.
I just got a call from this number and it is the "Medical Compensation Group" that has harassed me under many different numbers. First they asked if I've had the "Bladder Sling or Pelvic Mesh Surgery" and then when I say "NO", they continue to ask WHEN I had this surgery. This is CRAZY. This link of conversations under this other number follows the same script that I have gotten. Telling them to put me on their DO NOT CALL list makes no difference since I've done this at least 6 times over the last year. Today's operator would not tell me the name of the attorneys who could represent me, so I'm going to try to get it next time so I can call these attorneys directly to STOP using these out of the country spam operators who seem to be able to skirt around the do not call registry!!!
Recieved a call from this number early in the morning, waking me up. The person on the other end said that he was with the "Medical Compensation Group" and was calling about a bladder surgery I had. I told him the information was incorrect and hung up. Red flags for me, he didn't ask for a specific person, and didn't know who I was, so how would he know I had surgery. He was calling from a computer generated call list, which tells me he is just trying to get as many people as possible to give him personal information. Also, would not give specific answers, was very vague. All these things point to a scam, in my opinion, BEWARE!!!!
I just got called this morning by this number. Asked for me directly, and then asked about some kind of surgery. I hung up and tried to call the number back twice, both times the number was a NON-WORKING. I could not understand him, he spoke broken English. I don't know where he got my name and number, wish I did!
Most of these s am calls are made by a computer. Even when you think you are talking to a real person, you are not. Ask it a question and if there is a pause and a generic remark back from the speaker, it is a computer!!! Best way to handle is don't answer calls you don't know who they are from. Real people will leave you a message if it is important.
