Mel, you're either a SHILL or an idiot. Take your pick. Or, is it both? Calling back OR pressing "1" won't take you off a scammer's list because they don't give a single crap about you. The only things that happen are: 1) Your number is now confirmed as a legitimate target and 2) Your phone number gets ADDED to the telemarketer's list of people to CALL, and that info gets shared among all the other thieves and cheats.

Just a huge scam. I was sitting in a high school class and we have to put our phones in a box at the front of the room...I forgot to turn my ringer off. My teacher nonchalantly grabbed the phone after asking if he could answer it put it on speaker phone. When asked for a name by the lady my teacher answered "My name is ingio Montoya, you killed my father prepare to die." My teacher then hung up.
