This caller is supposedly attached to a mortgage company, as they called claiming they wanted me to refinance with them immediately. That is 1st time I've actually answered them. The message on their voicemails they leave repeats the same thing... That I qualify for a personal loan of $35,000 right now and I must speak to a loan consultant to receive it.
Funny part, it then says to hit 5 to remove my number from their call list. Within 24hrs after hitting to remove my #, the calls doubled, then tripled.
When I did answer the call, I was pretending to not be me so I could get them to leave a msg for "me", but they wouldn't give me any info, even when I explained that " she (me) doesn't return calls or answer unknown messages." Then after that the female caller said she would call back soon, and hung up on me.
Now I get calls until 10pm from same number. Even on a prepaid (VA#) phone registered to my aunt, they call her number too, bit when she googles it, it says this # is a disconnected # and that companies are ghost spoofing the call on a disconnected #.
I've received two calls today from numbers that weren't identified so I googled these and both are listed for scam numbers. Neither call left a message. The other number was a different area code 870-407-5262.
I just got a robocall from this number for "student debt relief," even though I don't have any student debts. So I added this number to my long, and ever-growing, list of blocked callers.
called me just now on my mobile, 11/24/15 - no voicemail, call coming from VA, i called back and it said "the google subscriber you have called is not available" so whatever. first time, hopefully the last...
Robocall offering help because my student loan has been flagged as eligible for a debt relief program.
Call was placed to my cell phone and I have no student loan debt.
Press 1 to speak with a rep or 5 to be added to a do not call list, which is funny because I am on the National Do Not Call list.
