I received a call from this number. Do not fall for it, they are scammers. They said it was the county department looking to arrest me, however the number is registered in Viginia and I live in California. Please do not fall for their tactics, they may try to scare and threaten you, but keep cool and just let them know you are reporting them to local authorities and the Federal Trade Commission.
my daughter got this same call so i contacted the county...they say they are an "arbitration firm" which is really just an attorney debt collection office...they can garnish your wages which is what they want to do to my daughter but they absolutely cant take you to jail so dont let them tell you that but my daughter did get served last week over $500 friggin dollars because they only gave her one day to pay. they said they tried to get in touch with her before but they didnt! i dont see how thats fair?? these companies are sharks! we dont have money for an attorney so we dont know how to fight the garnishment. ?
I keep getting a call from them and it is stupid because they are coming after me for something over 15 years ago that happen and will not tell me what it is . but by law they can not come after me after 7 years and I have never been served any papers so do give them any more ey . my lawyer friend told me all this so don't give any cash or any personnel info.
