Do yourself a favor, don’t answer a call that you do not know. NCO is the company that is calling you they are trying to collect debt that was owed from years ago and the company is no longer around.
Someone from this phone number called, but left no voice mail message. The caller ID showed: “(434) 533-9065 NCO” This is the fourth call this month from what seems to be the same company (which is using different phone numbers): NCO FINANCIAL SERVICES.
It would be advisable when Caller ID shows a phone number you do not recognize, to just let it go into voice mail. If it really is an important message for you (and not a sales/solicitation call), or if they are a legitimate business or organization, they would leave a personalized and detailed message as to who they are and the purpose of their call.
To hopefully put a stop to these repeat calls, I have been keeping a log of phone numbers that leave no voice messages for the past three months, and reporting these unsolicited phone calls on phone number websites such as this one.
The other phone numbers that called this month (and seems to be from the same company) are:
1-877-803-8009 is the number they finally gave me to give a relative. They only gave this after I remined them they were harrassing me. I t6old them if they had my number, I deserved one to get them the info they needed as well as stop the calls as that relative did not live here.
They also use the number 434-533-9065 AND a 702 numberCFFRF^
I also received a call from 702-520-1423 (several times) that started off by saying if you are not interested in receiving any more of our calls then please press 1, otherwise AT THIS POINT I PRESSED 1 SOMEONE SAID
"Thank You" and they hung up. However, it has happned 4 or 5 times, but I'm not sure it's the same number, I will when and if it happens again.
