Left an automated message stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against "you" (no name given) and to call this number back. The number to call is the same as the caller ID so I assume it is to capture your telephone number as well. - Or something else scam related.

Call from Internal Revenue "Services" (note the error in the name) claiming that a lawsuit has been filed against you and requesting that this number be called. This is an outright scam. Do not respond, do not send money, and do not provide any financial information. The real IRS does not make collections calls. They write letters or they take action.
