Same message left on my cell phone from a "Shelby" with the "office of meditations" stating "You" are hereby notified that we need to speak with "You" or "Your Attorney" directly. If we do not here from "You" we will document that "You" waived your right to counsel and submit your case to the state. Then ended by saying "Good Luck"
1.) Notice how "Shelby" never refers to whom she is calling by name, this let's you know that its a script thy're following. It makes it easier for them to robocall more people in bulk. All our phones are probably ringing virtually at the same time with the same crap.
2.) You cannot "waive" your right to counsel by not answering a call
3.) If you happen to answer and they appear to know who you are just know it is quite easy to get access to people's person information, especially when our cellphone numbers are being sold to third, fourth & fifth parties.
4.) There are statutes present in America that if a debt is truly owed, you have the right to receive a full details letter with the who, what, when, why and proof that you owe this debt e.g. a contract signed, confirmation of when, amount monies may have been deposited to your account etc..
Don't fall for it, they are phishing to see who bites. It's a SCAM!
Block the numbers and move on with your lives!
Good Luck Everyone!
