I have gotten into the habit of checking all unknown numbers I receive at work. It delays my answering the phone by a ring or two to type the number in. Then as I answer, the computer does a search. I spoke my standard greeting, and began to read the notes on this site. After a moment with no response, I said my greeting again. The line remained silent for a moment longer and then disconnected.
