Didn't know number so I don't answer. Besides getting put on a sales list of live answers, there is a New scam that involves them recording an affirmative "Yes" in your voice. Any of these that come through as just City & State are junk. They are buying clumps of numbers or cloning numbers and blocking them doesn't seem to work. No message left. These scammers just keep calling from various new numbers. How aggravating!!

This so called "new scam" isn't "new". It has been reported here since at least 2012 when I first came to this web site. Further, there has never been any verifiable reports of anyone ever actually getting scammed and not being able to get out of it. This has been spread on social media, and since most people are certainly not smart enough to actually check things out before re-tweeting this nonsense, it has taken the web by storm.
They called twice in a row, I thought it might be my kids calling from a friend's line, instead the guy says he's calling from Something Healthcare. He did ask if I could hear him. Then says they received our information because someone in my household suffers from chronic pain. I asked him to take me off their call list, instead he hung up. Was not a foreigner, sounded very like a Caucasian male from the Midwest.
