Cousin received a call from this number today 1/31/2017, they asked "Can you hear me" .. FYI for those who don't know. The new scam is going around for identity theft. They call ask if you can hear them, they record you saying yes and if they have your information they can use it to order things
This firm has tried to reach out to me with 3 different numbers and cities within an hours time - they may call almost 10x a day. They are stating they work for the Federal Gov't and that i qualify for a $9,000 grant. I requested for them to send me a letter via mail assuming they have all my contact information because they work for the Federal Gov't. I have since requested for them to remove me from their data base and Stella Peraart agreed since i am also going through a death in the family. This was a fail it is 9:43 am and i have rec'd 3 calls already. I have restated that i have requested to be removed from the database but the representative continues to do his scammer spiel. What do i do from here. I try to block every number coming in but this still continues.
