These people call two or three times daily. I have picked up the phone to try and get taken off the list, but there is never anyone there. Like everyone else, we are on the Do No Call registry.
Called today but I didn't answer. Caller ID said "Customer Dept.". Probably related to a call that came in on 3/28 from 440-617-5611 (almost identical) which said "Client Services". Also didn't answer that call.
I got the same call a few minutes ago. The name was "Customer Dept". Just for the heck of it I answered. Did not hear anything then got disconnected. Wish I knew what these low life jerks accomplish by doing this. I get this one more time and I will report it to the FTC.
If you call the number back you will get a recording that says, "press any key to be placed on our Do Not Call List" then follows up with, "Please allow 48 BUSINESS hours for this to take effect".
Received call - automated machine saying I qualify for a discount on my gas bill. This is an unsolicited call to my home phone number which is listed on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.
I pressed 1 to get a person, waited a couple minutes before someone picked up. I told her I wanted my number taken off the call list. She said "okay" and hung up without even asking for or verifying my number.
It seems to be some sort of scam. Press 5 to be connected to one of our friendly representatives. This strongly reminds me of the Rachel from Card Services lower your interest rates scam and they repeatedly called for several days all day long over and over. I tried calling back but it said the call could not be connected due to technical difficulties.
