Please show us the business acquisition press release and SoS filings which confirm that PRA "is actually Capital One" or that one owns the other.
} they cannot sue or obtain judgements.
Tell that to the many hundreds of people in my county alone racked on default and summary judgments obtained by PRA over many years.
} Don't waste money on lawyer as they ignore any and all laws.
Maybe you should seek employment at PRA since you think it's untouchable and we should all lay down and take their flimsy cases at face value. Their typical patterns of abuse generate FDCPA violations, which when pursued result in a fat check paid by PRA for the hassle.

Someone called this afternoon at 2:30 PM and the caller ID said Strongsville, OH. But the call was really from Portfolio Recovery who is a debt collector - http://www.portfoliorecovery.com and they have many, many, many numbers to harass you with. The website claims “Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC are here to help you pay your debt. Call 800.772.1413 to speak with an Account Representative…”
