Wanted to sell me 1000 business cards for $425 and then supposedly resell them to network marketers. Sent me to a website to show me these cards: www.usethesecardsorquit.com. Very rude and told me he turns silly, wimpy women into tigers. Very rude and definitely a smoker. Not buying into it. Still sounds like a scam to me. Wanted cash or money sent via WesternUnion or MoneyGram. Goes by the name "Gordo." Very scary.
Ok, so this guy calls up and says the same things you guys did. What is scary is he claims that he prints these cards for drug cartels and drug dealers as well as network marketers? wtf?
it sounds to me like a ponzi scheme. He also confuses the hell out of you. I thought he was telling me to get drop cards, then he says, that is not what you are going to do. and why if he is the "most successful" printer or network marketer ever why I have never heard of him. also. he gave a 2nd number with a 702 area code. both go to him and he makes it sounds like they are both land lines, not sure if it is or not. but wait 440 is in N.E ohio and 702 appears to be in either Nevada or California.
I must say that I wouldn't trust this any further than I could throw the planet of Jupiter.
I run ads for my work at home biz and "Gordo" left a message that he was interested in my home biz opp. So, I called him back like I do with everyone that responds to my ads. Within seconds I knew I had been "had". He thanked me for returning his call and asked if I was promoting a network marketing opportunity. As soon as I confirmed that I was, he started pitching himself as the greatest network marketer, that everything I was doing was stupid, and that I could never succeed without his "training". He gave some pretty vulgar examples of his success as some of the others have previously posted. It took me 10 minutes to get off of the phone. He gave me the 702 number to call him back "when I was ready" to get rich.
