Called my cell phone. Left no message.

Called my cell hung up on me . Then called back and I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called it back and a recording said if you'd like to be placed on the DO NOT CALL LOST push one . So I did. This is really annoying. How do they get my cell #?
