They call and we answer and they hang up.  If you call the number back, you have the option of #1 waiting to speak with an operator or #2 being added to the internal do not call list.  Whichever one you pick you will get an annoying sound for several seconds and then will be disconnected.

They said "hello", then heard voices of other scammers in background, followed by "hello" and background voices 4 more times, then they hung up.
