Just got the same number calling me about 10 minutes ago (6 pm). Phone rang twice before I picked up. They hung up as I said hello. I called them back using my cell phone since it was long distance. Voice on message said Ohio Police Athletic League. The number is from the Cleveland area. So they should not be calling anyone that is not from that area as we all have our own local "Athletic Leagues". Doesn't matter though, I will never give the police another dime of my money since the local police department just had 3 cops busted by the FBI for drug dealing and trying to rob a drug dealer. Now the local FOP wants to help the criminals families out....NOT WITH MY MONEY!!
Call from OPAL yesterday. I've seen them on my caller ID about ten times in the past month or so. They never leave a message. Yesterday I decided to answer the call to put a stop to calls with no message, especially so many times. The caller from OPAL was soliciting a donation. I asked to be removed from their call list right away. The caller then decided to play games by continuing with his speech, again I said to remove me from their list. Caller decided to escalate the back and forth conversation, I hung up. If this is a contractor fundraising for the Ohio Police Athletic League, I would suggest they immediately find a better way to raise funds.
I just happen tobe on the computer when this call came from OPAL. It rang 2 times before I picked up and they hung up as I picked up. My wife had picked up the extention at the same time. As one other man said that the police have fell in my eyes because of the things that they were caugth at. I know not all are the same but they are affilliated with them so I won't help them.
