Person said my name and when I replied "Yes?" she turned on a robocall collecting donations for some police fund. I knew better than to answer some random area code. Blocked.
Called about 2pm. Caller ID said Victorville CA. Only know a couple people in CA and neither would call my house phone. They only use my cell. Left it go to VM but no msg left.
Caller identified herself as Christine and saidashe was from the Breast Cancer Relief Foundation. A quick Google check on this organiation showed they are legitimate, but just barely, having paid most of their donations to professional telemarketers and also being publically remanded for fraud a couple of times.. I got another call yesterday from a similar breast- cancer organization with an almost identical name and number, and reputation. I blocked both numbers, after I told them I was on the DNC list and to not ever call here again or I would report them.
