Definitely NCO Collections. Spoke with Angel from NCO who was considerate and somewhat helpful. It was a Consumers Power Co (MI) bill for 4/09 on a rental house I sold years ago. I was assured just yesterday that calls would be put on hold until Consumers fixed the screw-up BUT have had two calls already today -- nobody there. THANKS for this caller ID service!
Its NCO collection Agency.... They call and call and call... I was speaking to a woman from there once and while we were on the phone I got another call from the same number. I told her to hold and when I answered it was one of her co-workers. I told him that I have a lady on the other line from his office and he proceeded to argue with me about it. So I connected the calls and let them talk to each other! They are a JOKE!

Big Bill, did you ever get this problem resolved with Consumers? We are having the same issue with a rental building we sold four years ago (also Consumers MI). We've talked with every supervisor we could and forwarded documentation. We were assured numerous times it would be taken care of and it still hasn't. We called the supervisors back after receiving bills showing the issue hadn't been resolved only to get a recording. We left messages but they have never returned our calls. Would appreciate any suggestions as we get these calls all hours of the day and night which we answer but no one appears to be on the line.
We haven't been in our house which we lost since October/2009. Consumers Power kept estimatating the gas bill. I told them no one was in the house and the bill shouldn't be $150.00. They told me that the heat must of come on a lot for the bill to be this high. The bank took over the house in February/2010, so they told me I had to pay the bill up to 7 days past the 26th of February. I said you are so crazy, why should I pay for something I never used, and also you estimated the damn bill. While living in the house we never had $150.00 gas bill ever, even in the coldest months. I told the lady that all they do is take peoples money and don't do their jobs at all. And also, told her I was not paying the bill for $150.00.
