Called claiming to be Peoples Bank asking if I was still at 4% on my home loan. We went around and around...no, I don't have a VA loan, no I am not a veteran. Finally, he said, well is Tracy a veteran? When I said 'who the hell is Tracy' he laughed and hung up.
Assume by the stupid misspelled CID name that this is the ongoing SCAM of unsolicited, unwelcome, fraudulent, and ILLEGAL mortgage loans, possibly aimed at American Veterans. Since they hung up before my phone even rang, it looks even more so! 443 area code has made numerous calls to my house with claims of debt collections and mortgage deals. Not much details online so new number for a tired old SCAM!
I just got called from 443-205-1351. I think it's scam, but they are very good. I'm a VET and they were talking about VA home loan rates and other things. Since I did not have a VA loan they said quickly. Sorry to bug you have a nice day and hung up. I'm just hoping it was not one of those calls where you say "yes" and then they can do some charges on your phone bill. I will be watching my bill!
Called saying they were from the Peoples Bank and Trust asking about VA home loan. Told them not interested and take our name off calling list. Blocked number with phone company.
