Got a call from a Private Number. Someone named Jessica Clause talking about shes from a Department of Legal Services. She used my maiden name and a county where I haven't lived for over 7 years. Says that if I don't return her calls she'll have me "served" either at home or work- whatever. Left this number to call back. Not wasting my time. You shouldn't either.
Anonymous man left voicemail re: "investigation" of my daughter-in-law, asking me to have her call a phone number he reported.
Disturbing unsolicited intrusion suggesting serious problem.
Got a call from this same number from "Jessica Cross or Clause" 443-249-8643 also said she was from legal services and was talking something about a legal issue that I am involved in with check fraud! It was so scary! When I called the number it is a office of man named Joseph...I am now relieved to know that others here are also reporting this....This is nothing but a scam!
they called me and i was skeptical at first but when i called them i talked to a gentleman named joseph and he explained what the calls were about. i know i needed to pay this but i didnt have $2,000 to pay right off the bat, he actually helped me bring the $2000 balance down to 3 payments of $200 a month and saved me a lot of money and heartache. give them a chance, they are not the worst ones out there, iv spoken to agencies that were very rude and told me i was going to jail if i didnt pay this, joseph was very polite and understood the hardship i was in. my daughter is in the hospital with bone cancer and my wife just passed a year ago, joseph went over his head to get me the lowest payment that could be offered, he dropped all the late fees, he sent me a letter to my email before i even set up any payments and then sent me a receipt as soon as each payment was made with conformation numbers that i could check through my bank.
