A hanger upper. No doubt peddling or scamming.

Got a call today, person said he was calling for the Professional Firefighters. I asked which jurisdiction and he stammered a bit, and I said "I'm a Firefighter, and I'm not aware of any solicitation being done for us" and he hung up. I AM a Firefighter, so I wasn't trying to start an arguement or anything. My advice to anyone is to ask you can drop a donation off at your local fire station. If the caller says no, it's probably a scam

Called this evening, to answering machine, hung up, no message. Blocking number.
