Second call today from this number. I let the first call go to the answering machine. I then searched on this number finding nothing but did find several other 443- numbers with Fax Global as caller ID. I picked up the 2nd call but did not say anything. A recording started "Hello, this is Attorney General Doug Gannon ..." at which point I hung up. Since I did not listen to the whole recording I don't know the specifics of this political pre-recorded message nor if there were options to donate to whatever cause was being promoted or to remove your number from future calls.

I don't answer calls unknown to me; if important, I expect they'll leave a message. Started getting calls from this number on Friday, Sept 20, at 5:25 pm, then 7:26, and today (Sat) at 11:55. Last night I (Fri) I looked up the number on the internet and and at that time there was no listing or comments for it. Thinking that it might be legit, I called the number back but got a sound like a fax machine. So I didn't answer it this noon but checked the internet again and found the above two answers. Good way for a politician to develop a negative impression. I've often wished that some law better than the do not call list could be created to restrain so many junk calls (I still manage to get more than I would expect) but I guess if this state's Attorney General makes use of them, he's not likely to lead the way in creating any restraints! A mailer is better because I can then review a politician's experience and read his views on issues--on my own time, not when a telephone call interrupts what I am doing.
