got a call from this number stating I needed to make a statement for a file for some kind of complaint. Caller also stated that file was on final review and if I didn't make a statement that it was going to the complainant. what the hell is this crap. cant we stop this crap????
I had the same call as Becky. They say I owe a payday loan. I know I don't, but they make it sound very real because the recording calls and leaves the number for you to call. It's the same guy and girl that I talk to. I tell them to do what they have to do and I will be waiting on my supposed Summons from the court. But the scary part is that they do have some of my personal information. Don't verify anything!!
These people have been harassing me for months saying i owe money on a loan i never opened.do not verify any information. put them on your blocked callers list.
These people have left messages on my home phone, my daughter's cell phone, and my work phone. I filed a complaint just this morning with the FTC, and reported them to the BBB as well. Not sure what good it will do. I don't owe any money, either. They have no website, and if you search Retrieval Mediation on the web, you come up with dozens and dozens of complaints about these people. If there is a hell, there's a special section reserved for these [***].
