Caller ID is Care IMP Plus. It is a landline in Baltimore MD. It is Care Improvement Plus/ XL Health headquartered in Baltimore Md. A Medicare supplement insurance company with clients in 6 states. They send out a Nurse Practitioner or Physician to evaluate their clients once a year supposedly to see if they are getting all the services they need. Actually because Medicare pays them to come out once a year. No one here qualifies for Medicare & the message is unsolicited. They also hunt down kin to try & reach you & get personal information. Probable SCAM engaged in MEDICARE FRAUD
I got a voice message from Sheri "a nurse case manager from House Calls, a program provided by [my mom's] health insurance". She left a callback number, 1-888-591-1511.
The thing is she mentioned my mom by name, but I haven't lived with my parents for a very long time. A very odd call to say the least. It sounds like a scam, but apparently they do their research.
I spoke to my mom and apparently this was real call since she had been expecting to here from this person. Neither she nor I could figure out how they got my number though.
