Same guy pulled the same [***] on my boyfriend, who fell for it. He offered him $375 for a piano that he never even saw a picture of or asked for a description. My boyfriend is constantly making irresponsible (well just flat out dumb) decisions so he decided to leave me out of this whole deal because he didn't want me to tell him not to do it. He actually deposited the check today. Luckily two hours later, he accidentally sent me a picture of the cashier check for $1,980.32 thinking he was sending it to a friend. Anyone who isn't a complete idiot would have known it was a scam, but not this guy! Argued With me for an hour that it was legit until I did some research and found this forum. Thank god he sent me that pic by accident or he would have went through with the entire thing. Dumbass. I've always said that God put girls on this earth to stop boys from doing stupid [***].
